Soleunique Garden at Moves!

Earlier this year, the dancers voiced a desire to work together on a community project.  After speaking with the owners of Moves Dance Studio, we have been provided the opportunity to, build from scratch, our very own Soleunique Flower Gardens!  Our gardens will be located on the North Side of the dance studio which faces Rte 56 and can also be seen from inside the studio in the upper level.  All work will be done by past, current and incoming members of Soleunique.  If you cannot attend, it's okay!  We'll be constantly maintaining our gardens throughout the summer and fall.  Everyone will have a chance to make it their own.

Date: TBA (2 days minimum)

Time: Early morning into afternoon or later

Who: Past, present and future Soleunique dancers.

What: Creation of our very-own gardens at Moves.  Built, designed and maintained by Soleunique company members.

What to bring:  Hand tools, work gloves (unless you don't mind a little mud on your hands), 1 or 2 of your favorite types of flowers.  Perennials are suggested, but annuals are also welcome.  Just remember that they'll have to be replanted next season. Bottled water and snacks as well.  We have a limited amount of tools at the studio that we can use, Anthony will bring some too.  Make sure to ask you parents first if you can borrow a shovel or garden rake.  You will also want to wear clothes that you don't mind making a mess of.  Especially your shoes!

Day One: Demo & Diggin'!  Pulling weeds, digging up roots, clearing the area and turning the soil.

Day Two: Brick laying (if available), soil prep, planting, mulching add ornaments (if available), watering.  Done!
